Symbol-framed clan names for PUBG Mobile and BGMI

BGMI name field: frames we checked and how to test yours

All frames on this page were checked for display on 30 September 2026 in Chrome on Linux with the Noto font family: every symbol rendered, none showed as an empty box. We have not tested each frame inside the PUBG Mobile or BGMI rename box, because the game’s filter can change with updates. Before you spend a Rename Card, check the name like this:

  1. Copy the framed name from this page.
  2. Open the Rename Card from your inventory and paste the name into the box.
  3. If the preview shows boxes (▯) or the game rejects the name, remove the symbol that failed and try a simpler frame such as 『Name』.

BGMI rename note (from the official Help Center)

The BGMI Help Center says you change your in-game nickname with a Rename Card. You can earn one for free by completing the level 3 and level 10 Progress Missions or through events, or buy one in Shop → Treasures. You can change your nickname only once per day, and the card is used up when you rename.

PUBG Mobile and BGMI are separate games: BGMI is the India version published by Krafton, so renaming in one does not change the other.

FAQ

What is a good PUBG name?

A good PUBG name is short, easy to read on the kill feed and says something about how you play — for example Rushr for an aggressive player, SilentScope for a sniper or LootGoblin for a funny friend. Keep one frame at most so the name stays readable.

How do I change my name in BGMI?

According to the official BGMI Help Center, you change your nickname with a Rename Card. You get one free from the level 3 and level 10 Progress Missions or from events, or buy it in Shop → Treasures. You can change your nickname only once per day, and the card disappears once used.

What symbols can I use in my PUBG name?

Symbols from common Unicode blocks — such as 亗 乂 『 』 ツ and ★ — are widely used in PUBG Mobile and BGMI names. The game does not publish a full list, so paste your framed name into the rename box and check the preview before you confirm the card.

What is the difference between PUBG Mobile and BGMI names?

BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) is the India-only version of PUBG Mobile published by Krafton. Both use the same Rename Card system, but they are separate games with separate accounts, so a name you own in one is not reserved in the other.

PUBG Mobile, BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) and Krafton are trademarks of their respective owners. CoolNicknames is an independent site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Updated 2 October 2026.
